Louis B. Kilmer

Louis B. Kilmer, CPM serves as the Deputy Division Director for the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety under the Department of Community Affairs. In this role, he oversees the general operations of the Division. Lou brings extensive experience in fire safety and regulatory oversight, ensuring compliance with the State’s Uniform Fire Safety Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder, while maintaining public safety standards. Under his leadership, the Division provides technical and administrative support to all 565 municipalities in New Jersey.
